The Creative Zone is really a showcase of artwork, poetry, short tales along with other creative work by elementary and junior high school students. The 5th-graders in Jennifer Pulitano’s class at Bald eagle Point Grade School in Weston lately authored these "physical" poems to go into the vacation spirit.
Thanksgiving is really a magical night,
Thanksgiving appears like a cousin’s face or aunt and uncle, a mysterious relative or perhaps a very good friend,
Thanksgiving has the aroma of the golden brown poultry sizzling to the liking,
Thanksgiving tastes like paradise in your fork with each and every bit of every mom’s family recipe,
Thanksgiving seems like a baby sister or cousin or
brother, your grandmother’s voice or aunts speaking,
Thanksgiving seems like family,
Thanksgiving is really a magical night.
— Michael Rufrano
Thanksgiving appears like a household gathering around an evening meal table
Thanksgiving has the aroma of scrumptious homemade food cooking in the kitchen area
Thanksgiving tastes just like a big feast of food melting inside your mouth
Thanksgiving seems like a household getting a lot of fun together
Thanksgiving seems like a lot of fun had by all
Thanksgiving is really an excellent gathering of buddies and families!
— Claire Aronson
Thanksgiving appears like a table with food onto it
From poultry to grain from salad to taters from the little food to some whole buffet.
Thanksgiving has the aroma of the trees from long ago where the pilgrims were.
Thanksgiving tastes such as the sweet taters from mom’s oven.
Thanksgiving seems like the laughter of happiness from the kid’s mouth.
